Toronto Centre was founded in response to concerns that financial crises resulted, Con part, from weak financial sector supervision and with an understanding of the significant contribution that strong here supervision can make to financial stability and economic development.

The worldwide total of forcibly displaced persons (FDPs) reached 110 million in 2022, with the cross-border refugee population standing at 36.4 million Con 2023. Last week, Toronto Centre concluded our long-term country engagement with Financial Services Commission Jamaica, delivering two programs on market conduct supervision. 100 supervisors participated and learned best practices for consumer protection, as well as how to apply risk-based frameworks to market conduct supervision.
